It's a throwback and simple, but very good to sharpen your teeth on. I like it! I sometimes wonder if a game is capable of becoming art. Yes, a ridiculous thought, I know. I don't care if the graphics were as they were and I still don't mind even to this day. This game is almost considered a classic for it has been out for nearly 20 years now. It is still enjoyable to this day. It's not like the mature games with extreme amounts of blood, gore, sex, drugs, and swearing. That's what made this game great was that it wasn't excessive and had a very fantastic and allegorical story line which could've ended multiple ways. I would sit and play the game until I beat it which took about six hours when I last played it because I had gotten so good. With today's standards of graphics, people would find this game gritty and disappointing, but this is something I actually love about the game. There have been many other Deus Ex games which have come out since then but this one is still the best. Pick this game up! I actually prefer the old graphics over the new.
